Frequent questions

I bought Pro on iOS. Does it carry to Android (or vice versa)?

No. Apple and Google sell digital goods separately, and the receipt for one store doesn't unlock the other. If you want SynthChord Pro on both, you'll need to buy it on each store.

I uninstalled and reinstalled. Do I lose Pro?

No. Open the app, head to Settings → SynthChord Pro → Restore purchases. As long as you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account that made the original purchase, Pro re-applies.

I want a refund.

Refunds for in-app purchases are processed by the platform you bought it on (Apple or Google), not by SynthChord directly. Apple: request via reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: refund request inside the Play Store within 48 hours, or contact Google Play support afterwards.

The internal synth sounds wrong on Windows / Linux / desktop.

The Tier 5+ audio stack (custom Dart synth, sampler, FX chain) only ships on Android / iOS / macOS. Windows + Linux currently fall back to an embedded FluidSynth backend that doesn't support those features. Mobile is where the app shines today.

I'd love to translate the app into <language>.

SynthChord ships in English, Spanish, French, and Brazilian Portuguese at launch. Want to add another? Email hello@synthchord.com. I'll send you the source ARB file with all strings.

Where's the Android / iOS app?

Android first, soon. iOS roughly a month after. Drop your email at drop your email on the homepage and you'll hear about both.
